SCOPE SHIELD
01
The proposal sets the scope
Prepare and send the proposal in SmoothOS. Once the client accepts it, its items become the baseline for every meeting check.
02
The transcript is read
A fast model reads the transcript and lists every client request. Transcripts arrive through an intake endpoint today; the recording bot is coming soon.
03
A careful model judges
It sees only the requests, the summary, the signed proposal and earlier meetings. For each request: in or out of scope, a reason, the hours.
04
You decide
Edit the amount, then create a draft invoice or mark it not billable. Nothing financial exists until you press the button.
Quote and speaker
Every flag carries the client's exact words and the speaker's name. No arguing over who said what.
Amounts in code
The model estimates hours. Code multiplies them by the project's rate. You can edit the amount before drafting.
Invisible drafts
A draft invoice sends no email, no proforma and no reminder, and can't be marked paid. Your client never sees it.
Issue when ready
Issue it from Payments and it becomes a real invoice, due in 14 days, with its notification and proforma.
Costs little to check
If the client asked for nothing, the careful model isn't called. An average meeting analysis costs about 6 cents.
In the Monday Brief
Open scope alerts show up in the weekly Monday Brief until someone decides on them.
What it won't do
It never creates a financial record until you press the button, and never shows a draft to your client. It doesn't listen to calls on its own yet: it works on transcripts, and the recording bot is coming soon.

MEETINGS
Every meeting ends with a summary, a task list and a scope check.
SAI reads the transcript, writes the decisions and draft tasks, and flags anything outside the signed proposal.

FINANCE
Invoices that are right the first time, in any currency.
Drafts, VAT, export exemptions, the official rate on the issue date and PDF documents, all calculated by the system.
ExploreScope Shield is how SmoothOS catches scope creep. It reads the meeting transcript, finds what the client asked for and checks it against the signed proposal. For new work it drafts a change request invoice; code sets the amount, and your client sees nothing until you issue it.
Today, the check runs on speaker-labeled transcripts delivered to SmoothOS's intake endpoint. The recording bot that joins your calls is coming soon. Google Meet and Zoom connect for scheduling and time, not transcripts.
Not the model. It estimates the hours, and code multiplies them by the project's rate. You can edit the amount, create a draft invoice, or mark the request not billable.
No. A draft invoice never appears in the portal. It sends no email, proforma or reminder, and stays out of totals and the dashboard until you issue it from Payments.
It compares each request with the accepted proposal's items and earlier meetings, then returns in or out of scope, a reason and the hours. You make the final call.
