SmoothOS is source-available under the Business Source License 1.1. The licensor is Salih Durak.
You may copy, modify, create derivative works from and redistribute the code, and use it for anything that isn't production.
Our Additional Use Grant also allows production use, as long as you don't offer SmoothOS to third parties as a hosted or managed service, or as part of a commercial offering whose value comes entirely or substantially from SmoothOS. Running it for your own agency, your own team and your own clients, including giving your clients access to its portal, is allowed.
Each version has a Change Date three years after it's first publicly released. On that date, that version becomes available under the Apache License, Version 2.0.
Every copy must display the license. It grants no rights to our name or logo. The code comes as is, without warranties. For any other use, contact us about a commercial license.
